Mingus Mountain

Project Description

National Forest System route (NFSR) 104 is in the Prescott National Forest, approximately 100 miles North of Phoenix, AZ.

NFSR 104 provides access to the Mingus Mountain Recreation area, picnic areas, and safety and recreational facilities. This project included rehabilitation of the unpaved route from approximately MP0.1 to the Mingus Mountain Vista Overlook and Picnic Area at approximately MP2.5, as well as addressing numerous safety concerns along the route, including clear zone, signage, delineation and traffic barriers where appropriate.
